Artist's Statement
I have been painting and drawing since 1975. I have a degree in art from the Art Institute of Houston and have worked as a graphic designer for many ad agencies.
I am influenced by many watercolor and oil painting artists; past artists like Salvador Dali, Winslow Homer and Georgia O'Keeffe; and current artists such as Pamela Wilson, Kent Williams and Jeff Kromer. I do custom portraits and fine art including landscapes.
I am currently showing at Tito's Gallery in Las Vegas, NM and have shown at the Brooke-Cullen gallery in Ft. Worth, TX.
I have won a national scholastic Gold Key and Gold Medal, received first prizes in juried shows in Houston, TX.
